Gatifloxacin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Mar 18, 2005. Male patient, 39 years of age, weighting 244.7 lb, was diagnosed with upper respiratory tract infection and was treated with Gatifloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, diarrhoea. Gatifloxacin dosage: 400 MG PO DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with ALBUTEROL, ALENDRONATE, ITRACONAZOLE, SPIRONOLACTONE, MONTELUKAST, IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE, PREDNISONE, PSEUDOEPHEDRINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Gatifloxacin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MUCOTRON, LEFTOSE, RIFATAC L, PANTOSIN, MAGNESIUM OXIDE, ADENOSINE TRIPHOSPHATE DI, NITORBIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/15/2006.
