Gatifloxacin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 12, 2005. Male patient, 86 years of age, weighting 143.1 lb, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Gatifloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: clostridium colitis. Gatifloxacin dosage: 200 MG , 200 MG DA, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VITAMIN E, FUROSEMIDE, LISINOPRIL, ATENOLOL, OMEPRAZOLE, FOLIC ACID, DILANTIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
