Gatifloxacin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Jan 19, 2005. Female patient was diagnosed with urinary tract infection , diabetes mellitus and was treated with Gatifloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, blood glucose decreased, blood glucose fluctuation. Gatifloxacin dosage: 400 MG DAILY PO X 3 DAYS. During the same period patient was treated with GLIPIZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
