Male patient, 56 years of age, weighting 147.0 lb, was diagnosed with diagnostic procedure and was treated with Gastrografin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: contrast media reaction, injury, renal failure acute, renal tubular necrosis, sepsis

Gastrografin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 20, 2006. Male patient, 82 years of age, weighting 243.0 lb, was diagnosed with computerised tomogram abdomen and was treated with Gastrografin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: renal tubular necrosis. Gastrografin dosage: 20 ML X1 IV. During the same period patient was treated with ALBUTEROL SULPHATE AND IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE, LISINOPRIL, FUROSEMIDE, ISOSORBIDE, LEVOTHYROXINE, SIMVASTATIN, FELODIPINE, GLYBURIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
