Gastrografin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 10, 2007. Female patient, 39 years of age, was diagnosed with intestinal obstruction, diagnostic procedure and was treated with Gastrografin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, aspiration, septic shock. Gastrografin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BARIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Gastrografin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Nov 29, 2005. Male patient, 79 years of age, was treated with Gastrografin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspiration, pulmonary oedema. Gastrografin dosage: SOLUTION OF 30 ML AND 1000 ML WATER. Patient died on 01/13/2005.
