Garamycin side effect was reported by a Physician from on Jan 12, 2005. Male patient, 61 years of age, weighting 210.0 lb, was diagnosed with diabetic foot and was treated with Garamycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: altered visual depth perception, cerebral atrophy, coordination abnormal, deafness neurosensory, decreased activity, diabetes mellitus inadequate control, diabetic retinopathy, difficulty in walking, disease progression. Garamycin dosage: 500-480 MG*QD INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with TIMOPTIC OPHTHALMIC SOLUTION, INSULINECTABLE, ASPIRIN, PROPINE OPHTHALMIC SOLUTION, CLINDAMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
