Ganciclovir side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Feb 02, 2009. Male patient, 58 years of age, was diagnosed with prophylaxis and was treated with Ganciclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspergillosis, biliary tract disorder, herpes oesophagitis, pneumonia , renal failure. Ganciclovir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, TACROLIMUS, ACYCLOVIR. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with OCTREOTIDE ACETATE, FLUCONAZOLE, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient died on 11/01/2000.
