Galvus side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from BRAZIL on Feb 09, 2009. Male patient, 39 years of age, weighting 196.2 lb, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension and was treated with Galvus. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose fluctuation. Galvus dosage: 50/850 MG, TID, THREE TABLETS OF EACH ACTIVE COMPOUND IN THE MORNING, AFTERNOON AND AT NIGHT. During the same period patient was treated with CAPTOPRIL. Patient recovered.

Female patient, weighting 156.5 lb, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus, blood cholesterol increased, anxiety  and was treated with Galvus. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, blood glucose fluctuation, body temperature fluctuation, diabetes mellitus inadequate control, hyperglycaemia, hyperhidrosis, mood altered, nervousness. Galvus dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with INSULIN, GLIMEPIRIDE, SIMVASTATIN, SIBUS. Patient recovered.

Female patient, weighting 176.4 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, blood cholesterol and was treated with Galvus. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, blood glucose fluctuation, hyperglycaemia. Galvus dosage: 50 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with GALVUS MET COMBIPACK, DIAMICRON, ATENOLOL, LOSARTAN POTASSIUM, CAPTOPRIL, LIPITOR, LANTUS. Patient recovered.
