Galantamine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 18, 2007. Male patient, 79 years of age, weighting 160.5 lb, was diagnosed with vascular dementia, vascular encephalopathy and was treated with Galantamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asterixis, dehydration, diarrhoea, dry mouth, dysarthria, eye disorder, facial palsy, hypoperfusion, miosis. Galantamine dosage: 16MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with GALANTAMINE HYDROBROMIDE, ALENDRONATE, CIPROFLOXACIN, CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE, CLOPIDOGREL BISULPHATE, CYANOCOBALAMIN, DEPEND BOOST LINER, DEPEND UNDERGARMENT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
