Galantamine Side Effects Report #5385189-2
Galantamine side effect was reported by a Physician from BELGIUM on July 09, 2007. Female patient, weighting 122.8 lb, was diagnosed with dementia alzheimer's type, atrial fibrillation , hypothyroidism, blood cholesterol, cardiac disorder, gastric ulcer, hypertension and was treated with Galantamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depressed level of consciousness. Galantamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MARCUMAR, LEVOTHYROXINE, PRAVASTATIN, CORUNO, XANAX RETARD, OMEPRAZOLE, KINZALKOMB. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/17/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depressed level of consciousness, muscle rigidity. Galantamine dosage: 12 MG BID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
