Galantamine side effect was reported by a Physician from AUSTRALIA on Mar 11, 2008. Male patient, 85 years of age, was diagnosed with dementia , hypertension and was treated with Galantamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, confusional state, diarrhoea, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, fall , hypotension, injury, laceration, loss of consciousness. Galantamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ERGOCALCIFEROL, IRBESARTAN, CALTRATE, VITAMIN B, ACETAMINOPHEN, CLOPIDOGREL, SIMVASTATIN, PANTOPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
