Gabitril Side Effects Report #4585490-6
Gabitril side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Feb 03, 2005. Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with sleep disorder  and was treated with Gabitril. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal discomfort, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood glucose increased, depressed level of consciousness, hypertensive crisis, hypertensive encephalopathy. Gabitril dosage: 100 MG QWKLY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with TYLENOL W. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, confusional state, depressed level of consciousness, grand mal convulsion, speech disorder, status epilepticus. Gabitril dosage: 16 MG QD ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CLOZARIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
