Gabapentine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from ITALY on Oct 10, 2007. Female patient was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, hypertension and was treated with Gabapentine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, dyspnoea, myopathy, oxygen saturation decreased, psychomotor hyperactivity, pulmonary congestion, renal failure, respiratory failure. Gabapentine dosage: 150 MG, TID. During the same period patient was treated with GABAPENTINE RPG, GABAPENTINE RPG, LANSOPRAZOLE, HALOPERIDOL, INSULIN, RAMIPRIL RANBAXY, ASPIRIN BP, DILTIAZEM RPG LP. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
