Furadantin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Jan 12, 2005. Female patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Furadantin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: henoch-schonlein purpura, petechiae, platelet count decreased. Furadantin dosage: 50 MG THREE TIMES DAILY, ORAL; 50 MG THREE TIMES DAILY, UNK. During the same period patient was treated with VASTAREL, NATISPRAY, APROVEL, INFLUENZA VACCINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal faeces, colitis, constipation , diarrhoea haemorrhagic, flatulence, large intestinal haemorrhage, petechiae. Furadantin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VAXIGRIP. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haemolytic anaemia, petechiae, thrombocytopenia. Furadantin dosage: 300 MG DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ORAL CONTRACEPTIVE NOS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
