Furadantin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Jan 12, 2005. Female patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection and was treated with Furadantin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: henoch-schonlein purpura, petechiae, platelet count decreased. Furadantin dosage: 50 MG THREE TIMES DAILY, ORAL; 50 MG THREE TIMES DAILY, UNK. During the same period patient was treated with VASTAREL, NATISPRAY, APROVEL, INFLUENZA VACCINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: henoch-schonlein purpura, hyponatraemia, leukopenia, neutropenia. Furadantin dosage: 150 MG, DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with KARDEGIC, EQUANIL, OMEPRAZOLE, ESIDRIX, BISOPROLOL FUMARATE, QUINAPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
