Furadantin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Oct 16, 2008. Female patient, 68 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection and was treated with Furadantin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, body temperature increased, bone pain, condition aggravated, dyspnoea, erythema, haematuria, musculoskeletal chest pain. Furadantin dosage: 50 MG THREE TIMES DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CLAMOXYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract disorder, rheumatoid arthritis What is  rheumatoid arthritis, essential hypertension and was treated with Furadantin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain What is  chest pain, chest x-ray abnormal, dyspnoea, fatigue, interstitial lung disease, pleural fibrosis, pulmonary fibrosis What is  pulmonary fibrosis, renal impairment, respiratory failure. Furadantin dosage: 50 MG, EVERY 2DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with INDAPAMIDE, METHOTREXATE, FOLIC ACID, PERINDOPRIL, NAPROSYN, AMLODIPINE, RANIDITINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/16/2000.
