Furadantin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from FRANCE on Sept 04, 2008. Male patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Furadantin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest discomfort, chest pain , pyrexia. Furadantin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN, COAPROVEL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 60 years of age, weighting 180.8 lb, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Furadantin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest discomfort, chest pain , oropharyngeal pain, pain in extremity, pyrexia. Furadantin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN, COAPROVEL, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Furadantin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from AUSTRALIA on Aug 24, 2005. Female patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract disorder, rheumatoid arthritis , essential hypertension and was treated with Furadantin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , chest x-ray abnormal, dyspnoea, fatigue, interstitial lung disease, pleural fibrosis, pulmonary fibrosis , renal impairment, respiratory failure. Furadantin dosage: 50 MG, EVERY 2DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with INDAPAMIDE, METHOTREXATE, FOLIC ACID, PERINDOPRIL, NAPROSYN, AMLODIPINE, RANIDITINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/16/2000.
