Furadantin Side Effects Report #5926102-6
Furadantin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Oct 01, 2008. Female patient, 91 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection , atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Furadantin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anaemia, anorexia, blood glucose increased, blood sodium decreased, blood urea increased, cardiac murmur, convulsion. Furadantin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREVISCAN, DIGOXINE NATIVELLE, CORDARONE, LEVOTHYROXINE, EFFERALGAN, TRIATEC, ISKEDYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Furadantin side effect was reported by a Physician from ITALY on June 13, 2007. Female patient, 88 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Furadantin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, anger, cardiac failure, cardiovascular disorder, jaundice , neurological symptom, renal failure acute, respiratory failure. Furadantin dosage: 100 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with SELEPARINA, ENAPREN, CALCIUM SANDOZ, LASITONE. Patient died on 05/30/2007.

Male patient, 82 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection , arrhythmia , ischaemic cardiomyopathy and was treated with Furadantin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, cholangitis acute, erythrosis, hepatitis cholestatic, renal failure, urinary retention, urinary tract infection . Furadantin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CORDARONE, PLAVIX, FORLAX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
