Funguard side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Jan 16, 2006. Male patient, 66 years of age, weighting 136.7 lb, was diagnosed with systemic candida and was treated with Funguard. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal abscess, dialysis , hepatic failure, platelet count decreased, postoperative abscess, red blood cell count decreased, renal failure, sepsis . Funguard dosage: 50 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP; 100 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with NEOPAREN, ELASPOL, BISOLVON, VANCOMYCIN, CALCICOL, STRONG NEO MINOPHAGEN C, NOVOLIN R. Patient died on 07/17/2005.

Funguard dosage: 100 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, TARGOCID, PAZUCROSSECTION, CIPROXAN, GASTERECTION, MINOMYCIN, SULPERAZON. Patient died on 11/23/2005.
