Funguard side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Feb 06, 2008. Male patient, weighting 2.43 lb, was diagnosed with systemic candida and was treated with Funguard. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, cardiac failure, leukopenia, lung disorder, multi-organ failure, neonatal asphyxia, platelet count decreased. Funguard dosage: 1 MG/KG, UID/QD, IV DRIP; 2 MG/KG UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with DIFLUCAN, FLORID, VICCILLIN, BIKLIN, CEFTAZIDIME, HABEKACIN, VENOGLOBULIN. Patient died on 08/14/2007.
