Funguard Side Effects Report #5080489-8
Funguard side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on July 27, 2006. Male patient, 96 years of age, was diagnosed with systemic candida and was treated with Funguard. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic function abnormal, jaundice . Funguard dosage: 150 MG, IV DRIP. Patient died.

Funguard side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Dec 27, 2005. Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Funguard. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, hepatic failure, infection , jaundice , shock, white blood cell count increased. Funguard dosage: 150 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with MEROPEN, PAZUCROSSECTION, VANCOMYCIN HYDROCHLORIDE, NEUART, GLOVENIN, ALBUMIN, REMINARON. Patient died on 11/15/2005.

Female patient, weighting 44.09 lb, was diagnosed with infection prophylaxis, stem cell transplant, bone marrow conditioning regimen and was treated with Funguard. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, encephalopathy, haematuria, hypertension, jaundice , mucosal inflammation, multi-organ failure, neuroblastoma recurrent, rash . Funguard dosage: 20 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with PROGRAF, ALKERAN, VEPESID, FUNGIZONE SYRUP, FLUDARABINE PHOSPHATE, THYMOGLOBULIN. Patient died on 05/20/2008.

Funguard dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DIFLUCAN, LEVOFLOXACIN, OMEGACIN, BIKLIN, SULPERAZON, HABEKACIN, LASIX. Patient died on 04/26/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood beta-d-glucan increased, c-reactive protein increased, cerebral haemorrhage, disease progression, hepatic function abnormal, jaundice , liver disorder. Funguard dosage: 150.00 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with KEITEN, GASTER, BAKTAR, CRAVIT, SAXIZON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/10/2005.
