Funguard and gastrointestinal haemorrhage Patient Reports February 11, 2012

Funguard Side Effects Report #4877251-5
Funguard side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Dec 27, 2005. Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Funguard. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, hepatic failure, infection , jaundice , shock, white blood cell count increased. Funguard dosage: 150 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with MEROPEN, PAZUCROSSECTION, VANCOMYCIN HYDROCHLORIDE, NEUART, GLOVENIN, ALBUMIN, REMINARON. Patient died on 11/15/2005.

Funguard side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on July 12, 2007. Male patient, 87 years of age, was diagnosed with fungal infection  and was treated with Funguard. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: fungal infection , gastrointestinal haemorrhage, pneumonia staphylococcal. Funguard dosage: 50 MG, BID, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with BIAPENEM, PAZUFLOXACIN MESILATEECTION, FAMOTIDINE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, multi-organ failure, pneumonia staphylococcal. Funguard dosage: 50 MG, BID, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with BIAPENEM, PAZUFLOXACIN MESILATEECTION, FAMOTIDINE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , gastrointestinal haemorrhage, mucormycosis, systemic mycosis. Funguard dosage: 150 MG. During the same period patient was treated with PREDISOLONE, MEROPENEM, METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, chest pain , condition aggravated, gastritis erosive, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, gastrointestinal necrosis, lobar pneumonia, mucormycosis, phagocytosis. Funguard dosage: 150 MG/D. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISOLONE, METHYLPREDNISOLONE, INSULIN, GRANULOCYTE COLONY STIMULATING FACTOR. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastrointestinal haemorrhage, gastrointestinal ulcer, peritonitis. Funguard dosage: 225 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with RINDERON, NEOPHYLLIN, TIENAM, MUCODYNE, MUCOSOLVAN, ERYTHROCIN, HOKUNALIN. Patient died on 04/30/2005.

Patient died on 04/30/2005.
