Funguard Side Effects Report #4914290-X
Funguard side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Feb 01, 2006. Male patient, 69 years of age, weighting 129.4 lb, was diagnosed with fungal infection  and was treated with Funguard. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depressed level of consciousness, fluid retention, hunger, malaise, oedema, pleural effusion, renal failure. Funguard dosage: 100.00 MG, BID, IV DRIP : 50.00 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with BIOFERMIN R, EXCELASE, TRANCOLON, HALCION, GLOBULIN, KAKODIN, MIRACLID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, child 5 years of age, weighting 40.34 lb, was diagnosed with febrile neutropenia and was treated with Funguard. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , convulsion, depressed level of consciousness, erythema, herpes zoster, swelling, trichosporon infection. Funguard dosage: 100 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN HYDROCHLORIDE, MINOPEN, FIRSTCIN, ZYVOX, ACYCLOVIR, PHENOBAL, LASIX, ALDACTONE A FINE GRANULE. Patient died on 09/27/2008.

Patient died on 09/27/2008.

Funguard dosage: 150 MG,UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with TARGOCID, HABEKACIN, FAMOTIDINE, OMEPRAZOLE, FLUCONAZON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adrenal insufficiency, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, depressed level of consciousness, hepatic function abnormal, hypoglycaemia, lung neoplasm malignant, neutrophil count increased, white blood cell count increased. Funguard dosage: 100 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, CORTRIL, SAXIZON, GASTER, CIBENOL, LASIX. Patient died on 07/13/2005.
