Funguard Side Effects Report #4709310-1
Funguard side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on June 22, 2005. Female patient, 71 years of age, weighting 88.85 lb, was diagnosed with systemic mycosis, thrombosis prophylaxis and was treated with Funguard. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , acidosis, aphagia, blood glucose increased, brain stem syndrome, cardiac failure, cerebellar infarction, cerebral artery embolism. Funguard dosage: 300.00 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with FUNGIZONE, UNASYN, ORGARAN, DENOSINE TANABE, PREDNISOLONE, MIRACLID, FUTHAN, GRAN. Patient died on 06/01/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, cardiac failure, leukopenia, lung disorder, multi-organ failure, neonatal asphyxia, platelet count decreased. Funguard dosage: 1 MG/KG, UID/QD, IV DRIP; 2 MG/KG UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with DIFLUCAN, FLORID, VICCILLIN, BIKLIN, CEFTAZIDIME, HABEKACIN, VENOGLOBULIN. Patient died on 08/14/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aortic aneurysm rupture, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood bilirubin increased, cardiac arrest , cardiac failure, disease progression, hepatic function abnormal, hyperbilirubinaemia. Funguard dosage: 100 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with TIENAM, TARGOCID. Patient died on 07/20/2005.

During the same period patient was treated with TIENAM, TARGOCID. Patient died on 07/20/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure systolic decreased, cardiac failure, coombs test positive, disseminated intravascular coagulation, haemolytic anaemia, infection , no therapeutic response, red blood cell agglutination present. Funguard dosage: 50 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP; 150 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with MAGMITT, LOXOPROFEN, CIBENOL, VIT K CAP, VANCOMYCIN, CIPROFLAXACIN, MEROPEN. Patient recovered.
