Funguard side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Sept 02, 2008. Female patient, 68 years of age, weighting 105.8 lb, was diagnosed with systemic candida and was treated with Funguard. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, bone marrow failure, neutrophil count decreased, pneumonia
, post procedural complication, septic shock, white blood cell count decreased. Funguard dosage: 50 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, MEROPEN. Patient died on 08/24/2008.Funguard Side Effects Report #5889130-5

Funguard dosage: 3 MG/KG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, NEUTROGIN, PRODIFECTION, VFEND, MINOCYCLINE, MEROPEN, AMIKACIN SULPHATE. Patient died on 07/19/2007.
