Female patient, 79 years of age, weighting 111.3 lb, was diagnosed with hyperphosphataemia and was treated with Fosrenol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebrovascular accident, dialysis , hemiparesis, nausea . Fosrenol dosage: 750 MG, 3X/DAY; TID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ATACAND, DIGOXIN, METOPROLOL TARTRATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
