Female patient, 89 years of age, weighting 140.0 lb, was diagnosed with hyperphosphataemia and was treated with Fosrenol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, arrhythmia , atrioventricular block complete, cerebral atrophy, cerebral infarction, cerebrovascular accident, diverticulum, diverticulum intestinal, encephalopathy. Fosrenol dosage: 750 MG, 3X/DAY; TID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with NORVASC, SENSIPAR, TIMOPTIC, PILOCAR, ECOTRIN, NEPHROCAPS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
