Fosphenytoin Side Effects Report #4771116-5
Fosphenytoin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 01, 2005. Male patient, 58 years of age, was diagnosed with convulsion and was treated with Fosphenytoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: fatigue, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, hepatic failure, hepatic necrosis, post procedural complication, thrombocytopenia, white blood cell count decreased, white blood cell count increased. Fosphenytoin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with KEPPRA, ZANTAC, DEXAMETHASONE, RANTIDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Fosphenytoin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DILANTIN, KEPPRA, ZANTAC, DEXAMETHASONE, DOCUSATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
