Fosphenytoin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Apr 25, 2006. Female patient was diagnosed with ill-defined disorder, convulsion and was treated with Fosphenytoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, grand mal convulsion, nystagmus. Fosphenytoin dosage: 20 MG/KG, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM, CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: grand mal convulsion, hypotension, mental status changes. Fosphenytoin dosage: 1200 MG ONCE IV. Patient recovered.
