Fosphenytoin Side Effects Report #4975033-7
Fosphenytoin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Apr 14, 2006. Female patient was diagnosed with convulsion prophylaxis and was treated with Fosphenytoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coma, disorientation, somnolence. Fosphenytoin dosage: 200 MG Q12H IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Fosphenytoin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 31, 2006. Male patient, 17 years of age, was diagnosed with complex partial seizures, convulsion prophylaxis, ill-defined disorder and was treated with Fosphenytoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, blood bicarbonate decreased, blood glucose increased, blood potassium increased, disorientation, haemodialysis, hyperphosphataemia, kidney transplant rejection. Fosphenytoin dosage: 1000 MG (1 IN 1 HR), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with TACROLIMUS. Patient recovered.
