Fosphenytoin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on July 23, 2008. Female patient, 88 years of age, was diagnosed with status epilepticus and was treated with Fosphenytoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholestasis, cytolytic hepatitis. Fosphenytoin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NOROXIN, ATENOLOL, VALPROATE, FUROSEMIDE, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, TIANEPTINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 34 years of age, was diagnosed with ill-defined disorder, ankylosing spondylitis What is  ankylosing spondylitis, intubation and was treated with Fosphenytoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, cytolytic hepatitis, rash morbilliform, thrombocytopenia. Fosphenytoin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM, OMEPRAZOLE, ACECLOFENAC, THIOPENTAL, NORCURON, TEGRETOL, KEPPRA, CORTANCYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
