Fosphenytoin side effect was reported by a Physician from on Mar 22, 2005. Male patient, weighting 8.38 lb, was diagnosed with convulsion and was treated with Fosphenytoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest neonatal, condition aggravated, convulsion neonatal, neonatal respiratory arrest, overdose. Fosphenytoin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PHENOBARBITAL. Patient died on 12/25/2004.

Fosphenytoin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PHENOBARBITAL. Patient died on 12/25/2004.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accidental overdose, anoxia, aspiration, bradycardia neonatal, cardiac arrest , cardiac disorder, condition aggravated, convulsion neonatal, hyperaemia. Fosphenytoin dosage: 480 MG (30MG IN 5 MINUTES THEN 450MG IN 5 HOURS), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with PHENOBARBITAL, PYRIDOXINE. Patient died on 12/25/2004.
