Foscavir side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on June 28, 2006. Female patient, 22 years of age, was diagnosed with human herpesvirus 6 infection and was treated with Foscavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypokalaemia, pyrexia, renal impairment, tongue paralysis. Foscavir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PROGRAF, ITRACONAZOLE, ZOVIRAX, NEUTROGIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with PROGRAF, ITRIZOLE, ZOVIRAX, NEUTROGIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia, cerebral toxoplasmosis, oral candidiasis, haematotoxicity and was treated with Foscavir.
