Fosamprenavir and exfoliative rash Patient Reports February 11, 2012

Fosamprenavir Side Effects Report #5315793-9
Fosamprenavir side effect was reported by a Physician from ARGENTINA on Apr 27, 2007. Male patient, 25 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Fosamprenavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: exfoliative rash, multi-organ failure, renal failure, stevens-johnson syndrome. Fosamprenavir dosage: 1400MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LAMIVUDINE, ZIDOVUDINE, RITONAVIR, PYRIMETHAMINE, SULFADIAZINE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient died on 02/01/2007.
