Male patient, 54 years of age, weighting 211.0 lb, was diagnosed with hyperlipidaemia, diabetes mellitus and was treated with Fortamet. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal discomfort, anxiety , emotional disorder, nervous system disorder, urine colour abnormal. Fortamet dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FORTAMET ER, FORTAMET ER, LIPITOR. Patient recovered.

Fortamet side effect was reported by a Physician from on Apr 13, 2005. Female patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and was treated with Fortamet. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, bradyphrenia, cardiomegaly, constipation , coronary artery insufficiency, emotional disorder, gastrooesophageal reflux disease, haemoglobin decreased. Fortamet dosage: 1000 MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with LITHIUM. Patient recovered.
