Male patient, 66 years of age, weighting 174.0 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Fortamet. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bile duct obstruction, biliary dilatation, cholelithiasis, constipation What is  constipation, diabetes mellitus inadequate control, dilatation intrahepatic duct acquired, dyspepsia, flatulence, glycosylated haemoglobin increased. Fortamet dosage: 500 MG PO BID. During the same period patient was treated with AVANDAMET, TOPROL, VITAMIN C, TUMS. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with PIOGLITAZONE, PREDNISOLONE. Patient recovered.
