Fortamet side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Feb 09, 2005. Male patient, 66 years of age, weighting 174.0 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Fortamet. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bile duct obstruction, biliary dilatation, cholelithiasis, constipation , diabetes mellitus inadequate control, dilatation intrahepatic duct acquired, dyspepsia, flatulence, glycosylated haemoglobin increased. Fortamet dosage: 500 MG PO BID. During the same period patient was treated with AVANDAMET, TOPROL, VITAMIN C, TUMS. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aneurysm , diabetes mellitus inadequate control, macular oedema. Fortamet dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PIOGLITAZONE, PREDNISOLONE. Patient recovered.
