Fortamet side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Feb 09, 2005. Male patient, 66 years of age, weighting 174.0 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Fortamet. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bile duct obstruction, biliary dilatation, cholelithiasis, constipation What is  constipation, diabetes mellitus inadequate control, dilatation intrahepatic duct acquired, dyspepsia, flatulence, glycosylated haemoglobin increased. Fortamet dosage: 500 MG PO BID. During the same period patient was treated with AVANDAMET, TOPROL, VITAMIN C, TUMS. Patient recovered.

Fortamet side effect was reported by a Physician from on Apr 13, 2005. Female patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and was treated with Fortamet. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, bradyphrenia, cardiomegaly, constipation What is  constipation, coronary artery insufficiency, emotional disorder, gastrooesophageal reflux disease, haemoglobin decreased. Fortamet dosage: 1000 MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with LITHIUM. Patient recovered.
