Fortamet side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Apr 20, 2006. Female patient, 58 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Fortamet. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood magnesium decreased, chest pain , myalgia, refusal of treatment by patient. Fortamet dosage: 1000 MG QDAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with SYNTHROID, AVANDIA, DIOVAN, ZOLOFT, AVANDAMET. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
