Fondaparinux side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 31, 2009. Male patient, 60 years of age, weighting 219.8 lb, was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis  and was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, clostridial infection, confusional state, dialysis , fall , haemorrhage, hypotension, international normalised ratio decreased, mental disorder. Fondaparinux dosage: 10 MG EVERY DAY SQ. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with CLOPIDOGREL, FUROSEMIDE, METOPROLOL, STATINS, CAPTOPRIL, HEPARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain , anaemia, aspiration, cardio-respiratory arrest, crepitations, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, hypotension, hypoxia. Fondaparinux dosage: 2.5 MG DAILY SUBCUTANEO. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN, DIOVAN, NASACORT, ALBUTEROL, LASIX, ETODOLAC, DARVOCET, MECLIZINE. Patient died on 04/07/2005.

During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN, CARTIA XT, FLOMAX, TOPROL, TYLENOL, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
