Fondaparinux Side Effects Report #6139954-4
Fondaparinux side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 31, 2009. Male patient, 60 years of age, weighting 219.8 lb, was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis  and was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, clostridial infection, confusional state, dialysis , fall , haemorrhage, hypotension, international normalised ratio decreased, mental disorder. Fondaparinux dosage: 10 MG EVERY DAY SQ. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Fondaparinux side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Sept 16, 2008. Male patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with cerebrovascular accident prophylaxis and was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain herniation, cerebral ischaemia, depressed level of consciousness, fall , intracranial pressure increased, mydriasis, subdural haematoma. Fondaparinux dosage: 7.5 MG / PER DAY /. Patient died.

Male patient, 62 years of age, was diagnosed with budd-chiari syndrome, pulmonary embolism  and was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, fall , subdural haematoma, surgical procedure repeated. Fondaparinux dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FONDAPARINUX GLAXOSMITHKLINE, URSO, FLOMAX, MEPRON, DYAZIDE, AMOXICILLIN, VALTREX, AMBIEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
