Fondaparinux side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 11, 2008. Male patient, 58 years of age, weighting 113.5 lb, was diagnosed with thrombosis prophylaxis and was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, depressed level of consciousness, haemorrhage intracranial. Fondaparinux dosage: 2.5MG EVERY 24 HOURS SQ. Patient died on 01/08/2008.

Fondaparinux side effect was reported by a Physician from BRAZIL on Jan 12, 2006. Female patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with myocardial infarction and was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, cognitive disorder, depressed level of consciousness, facial paresis, haemorrhagic stroke. Fondaparinux dosage: 2.5MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, CLOPIDOGREL, CAPTOPRIL, CARVEDILOL, SIMVASTATIN, FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Fondaparinux side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Sept 16, 2008. Male patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with cerebrovascular accident prophylaxis and was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain herniation, cerebral ischaemia, depressed level of consciousness, fall , intracranial pressure increased, mydriasis, subdural haematoma. Fondaparinux dosage: 7.5 MG / PER DAY /. Patient died.
