Fondaparinux side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from NETHERLANDS on Jan 13, 2006. Female patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with angina unstable and was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac tamponade, pericardial haemorrhage, pulmonary embolism What is  pulmonary embolism. Fondaparinux dosage: 2.5MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, CLOPIDOGREL, ENOXAPARIN, FUROSEMIDE, PRAVASTATIN, SOTALOL, AMLODIPINE, THYRAX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Fondaparinux side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from RUSSIAN FEDERATION on Mar 10, 2006. Female patient, 85 years of age, was diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction and was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac tamponade, myocardial rupture, pericardial haemorrhage. Fondaparinux dosage: 2.5MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, PERINDOPRIL, PROPRANOLOL HYDROCHLORIDE, NITROGLYCERIN. Patient died on 06/24/2005.
