Fondaparinux Side Effects Report #4881955-8
Fondaparinux side effect was reported by a Physician from BRAZIL on Jan 12, 2006. Female patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with myocardial infarction and was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, cognitive disorder, depressed level of consciousness, facial paresis, haemorrhagic stroke. Fondaparinux dosage: 2.5MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, CLOPIDOGREL, CAPTOPRIL, CARVEDILOL, SIMVASTATIN, FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Fondaparinux side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 01, 2007. Male patient, 62 years of age, was diagnosed with budd-chiari syndrome, pulmonary embolism  and was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, fall , subdural haematoma, surgical procedure repeated. Fondaparinux dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FONDAPARINUX GLAXOSMITHKLINE, URSO, FLOMAX, MEPRON, DYAZIDE, AMOXICILLIN, VALTREX, AMBIEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
