Fondaparinux side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from NETHERLANDS on June 27, 2005. Female patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with thrombosis prophylaxis and was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, atrial fibrillation , blood pressure systolic increased, haemoglobin decreased, operative haemorrhage, platelet count decreased, shock haemorrhagic. Fondaparinux dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, foetal distress syndrome, umbilical cord around neck. Fondaparinux dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NADROPARINE CALCIUM, QUESTRAN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, clostridial infection, confusional state, dialysis , fall , haemorrhage, hypotension, international normalised ratio decreased, mental disorder. Fondaparinux dosage: 10 MG EVERY DAY SQ. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, anaemia macrocytic, haemoglobin decreased, myelodysplastic syndrome, renal impairment. Fondaparinux dosage: 2.5MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, UNFRACTIONATED HEPARIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain , anaemia, aspiration, cardio-respiratory arrest, crepitations, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, hypotension, hypoxia. Fondaparinux dosage: 2.5 MG DAILY SUBCUTANEO. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN, DIOVAN, NASACORT, ALBUTEROL, LASIX, ETODOLAC, DARVOCET, MECLIZINE. Patient died on 04/07/2005.
