Fondaparinux side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 31, 2008. Female patient, 53 years of age, weighting 205.0 lb, was diagnosed with pulmonary embolism  and was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , haematoma, haemorrhage. Fondaparinux dosage: 10MG QD SQ. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction and was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , aortic aneurysm rupture, retroperitoneal haematoma. Fondaparinux dosage: 2.5MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, CLOPIDOGREL, GLYCERYL TRINITRATE, METOPROLOL, RANITIDINE, SIMVASTATIN, NADROPARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Fondaparinux side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on June 06, 2005. Male patient, 85 years of age, weighting 148.0 lb, was treated with Fondaparinux. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain , anaemia, aspiration, cardio-respiratory arrest, crepitations, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, hypotension, hypoxia. Fondaparinux dosage: 2.5 MG DAILY SUBCUTANEO. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN, DIOVAN, NASACORT, ALBUTEROL, LASIX, ETODOLAC, DARVOCET, MECLIZINE. Patient died on 04/07/2005.
