Follitropin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Jan 11, 2007. Female patient, 28 years of age, was diagnosed with assisted fertilisation and was treated with Follitropin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cachexia, escherichia infection, hyperthermia, nephrotic syndrome, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, pelvic haematoma, peritonitis, pleural effusion, respiratory distress. Follitropin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TRIPTORELIN ACETATE, TRIPTORELIN ACETATE, CHORIONIC GONADTROPIN. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 29 years of age, was diagnosed with artificial insemination by partner and was treated with Follitropin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: enterococcal infection, escherichia infection, gardnerella infection, klebsiella infection, pathogen resistance, peritonitis, staphylococcal infection What is  staphylococcal infection. Follitropin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MENOTROPINS, CHORIONIC GONADOTROPIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
