Female patient, 32 years of age, was diagnosed with assisted fertilisation and was treated with Follitropin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, dyspnoea, haematocrit increased, hypovolaemic shock, ovarian enlargement, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, pleural effusion. Follitropin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CHORIONIC GONADOTROPIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
