Follitropin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on July 25, 2008. Female patient, 37 years of age, was diagnosed with in vitro fertilisation and was treated with Follitropin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: deep vein thrombosis , haemorrhage, pulmonary embolism , renal disorder. Follitropin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CHORIONIC GONADTROPIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Female patient, 31 years of age, was diagnosed with in vitro fertilisation and was treated with Follitropin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: deep vein thrombosis , jugular vein thrombosis, metrorrhagia. Follitropin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FOLLITROPIN BETA, GANIRELIX ACETATEECTION, CHORIONIC GONADTROPIN. Patient recovered.
