Folinic Side Effects Report #5467603-7
Folinic side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 12, 2007. Female patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with colorectal cancer metastatic and was treated with Folinic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, asthenia, colitis, dehydration, diarrhoea, dizziness , fatigue, frequent bowel movements, hypokalaemia. Folinic dosage: 600 MG FORTNIGHTLY IV. During the same period patient was treated with FLUOROURACIL, OXALIPLATIN, BEVACIZUMAB, HYDROXYZINE, SUCRALFATE, SERTRALINE, LEVOTHYROXINE, METOPROLOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Folinic side effect was reported by a Physician from POLAND on July 28, 2008. Male patient, weighting 176.4 lb, was diagnosed with colorectal cancer , pain , vomiting and was treated with Folinic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, dehydration, diarrhoea, fibrin d dimer increased, hyperbilirubinaemia, hyponatraemia, neutropenia, pain . Folinic dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FLUOROURACIL, IRINOTECAN, FENTANYL, ONDANSETRON, METOCLOPRAMIDE, ATROPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Folinic side effect was reported by a Health Professional from GERMANY on Feb 01, 2008. Male patient was diagnosed with colon cancer metastatic and was treated with Folinic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, malignant neoplasm progression, metastases to bone, metastases to lung, metastases to thyroid, no therapeutic response, recurrent cancer, refusal of treatment by patient, renal failure acute. Folinic dosage: 400 MG/M2. During the same period patient was treated with FLUOROURACIL, IRINOTECAN, BEVACIZUMAB. Patient died.
