Fluvoxamine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 18, 2005. Male patient, 42 years of age, was diagnosed with ill-defined disorder and was treated with Fluvoxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dizziness , electrocardiogram qt corrected interval prolonged, face injury, fall , loss of consciousness, syncope, tonic clonic movements, torsade de pointes. Fluvoxamine dosage: DAILY DOSE: 300 MILLIGRAM(S). During the same period patient was treated with METHADONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, loss of consciousness, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, pulmonary congestion, pulmonary oedema, respiratory arrest, snoring . Fluvoxamine dosage: DAILY DOSE: 250 MILLIGRAM(S), FREQUENCY: ONCE. During the same period patient was treated with METOCLOPRAMIDE, PROPERICIAZINE, PROMETHAZINE, LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, SULPIRIDE, BROTIZORAM. Patient died.

Fluvoxamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with THORAZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
